OLP was engaged to work closely with one of their resellers to design, manufacture and install over 300 laminate lockers. The laminate lockers were to be installed in multiple locations across two floors of a secure inner city office building.
Site visits were conducted with the reseller and the end user to fully understand the requirements and visually assess where the laminate lockers would be installed. The end user required a combination of two, three, and four door laminate lockers.
Project details
The laminate lockers were customised with a non-standard colour and the two, and three door lockers were required in a non-standard height. A specialised lock was required for some of the laminate lockers that would only be accessible during certain hours of the day.
The lockers were installed in a secure inner city office building and site access required pre-approval. Installation of the lockers needed to be coordinated with the end client as existing furniture needed to be moved out to make way for the new lockers.

Through their extensive supplier network and in line with their sustainability goals, OLP arranged for the customised two, and three door laminate lockers to be built through a local manufacturer. The laminate lockers were customised in a Laminex Greystone finish and built in the following sizes.
20 two door lockers 1,015mm H x 400mm W x 500mm D
49 three door lockers 1,365mm H x 400mm W x 500mm D
41 four door lockers 1,800mm H x 400mm W x 500mm D
A specialised lock with pin and Mifare Card Reader which enabled locker access only during certain hours of the day was supplied. OLP worked closely with their reseller and the end user to coordinate site inductions, delivery, and installation. Through ongoing communication OLP arranged for the laminate lockers to be installed in three stages over a two-week period.
